Legal Solutions for Housing Problems

Rideshare Legal Services offers free legal assistance regarding landlord, tenant, and other housing issues, for drivers. You will be able to meet with a lawyer who is volunteering their time pro bono. They will be able to give you general advice about landlord-tenant disputes, pursuing a case in small claims court, New York City housing law, understanding legal documents such as leases or eviction notices, and let you know your rights as a tenant. If appropriate, they will also direct you to other government resources or other nonprofit organizations that can help further your case.
